The Pastoralists Federal Council of Australia was formed in Brisbane of 16 March 1891 by representatives of the Pastoralists Unions of Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia and the United Pastoralists Union of Queensland for the purpose of securing uniform policy and unity of action.
